ROY J. ZUCKERBERG Roy Zuckerberg is Senior Partner of Samson Investment Partners. In addition, he is a Senior Director of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. after having retired in November of 1998 as Vice Chairman of the Firm, a member of the Executive Committee, and head of the Equities Division. He joined the firm in 1967 and in 1976 became a General Partner.

Roy is former Chairman of the Board of Trustees and presently a member of the Executive Committee of Northwell Health, formerly North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, Inc.

Roy is past Chairman of the Board of Governors of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel where he served from 2004 to 2012. Roy is also Honorary Chairman of the Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research. The Zuckerberg Institute, now in its second decade of operation leads interdisciplinary, cutting-edge research and graduate education in water sciences, aimed at improving human well-being in drylands through technologies and policies for sustainable use of water resources. In 2009, he received an honorary doctoral degree from Ben-Gurion University.

Roy is a Trustee of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and is a Director of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. He chaired the investment committee of the University of Massachusetts Foundation from 2000 to 2009 and supports the Roy J. Zuckerberg Endowed Leadership Chair.

Roy received a B.S. from Lowell Technological Institute in 1958. The University of Massachusetts has honored him with their Distinguished Alumni Award, a doctor of humane letters and the President’s Medal.
LLOYD P. ZUCKERBERG Lloyd Zuckerberg is a Partner of Samson Investment Partners and directs and manages the firm’s real estate investments. Some of Lloyd’s most successful projects have involved conservation easements that have allowed him to minimize development risk while still creating economic value from lands that merit conservation. Prior to this, Lloyd was a Vice President with LaSalle Partners, where he was the deputy project manager for the $200 million redevelopment and renovation of Grand Central Terminal in midtown Manhattan. Before that, he was a senior executive with Grand Central Partnership and its sister companies, 34th Street Partnership, and Bryant Park Corporation.

Lloyd is a graduate of The Hotchkiss School, Tufts University, and Harvard Business School. He is a trustee of the New York Landmarks Conservancy, Old Westbury Gardens, Nassau Land Trust, and a project of Phipps Houses. He is the publisher of José M. Allegue: A Builder's Legacy and Hotchkiss, The Place, an architectural history of The Hotchkiss School.
DANIEL M. GEARYDan Geary is a Partner of Samson Investment Partners serving as Public Equities Portfolio Manager. He is also Managing Member of the Brookside-Samson Partners fund. Brookside-Samson Partners’ mandate is to seek out and invest in high-quality and undervalued companies which can compound shareholder value at high rates over long time horizons. Dan previously spent nine years at Wintergreen Advisers, a global value investment adviser, as a generalist equity analyst responsible for covering a wide variety of businesses and industries from around the world. Prior to that, he spent four years at Loomis Sayles, where he was a fixed income analyst.

Dan received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Administrative Science from Colby College.
ROBERT D. EMER Bob Emer is the Chief Financial Officer of Samson Investment Partners. Bob previously spent over 25 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. working in a variety of roles across numerous businesses: Controllers, FICC, Special Situations Group, and Corporate Services. He has also worked at The First Boston Corporation and Deloitte, Haskins & Sells.

Bob is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Accounting (cum laude) and is also a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law. He is both a CPA and an attorney. He and his family are puppy raisers for The Seeing Eye in Morristown, NJ.
LAURA K. GLASS Laura Glass is the Controller and Manager of Human Resources of Samson Investment Partners. Prior to joining Samson, Laura was a Manager, Tax and Family Office at BCRS Associates. She began her career in the Private Client Services group of Arthur Andersen, focusing on tax and estate planning for high net worth families.

Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting from Fordham University.
